founder, designer, and maker at coral & pine! I started making jewelry in middle school and it has been a passion of mine ever since. After almost a decade working in the corporate fashion world, I decided to start my own small business: coral & pine

Working in the fashion industry, I witnessed a significant amount of waste at every stage of development and production. Even in the corporate office, luxury materials were being tossed. I saw an opportunity: one company’s waste is this woman’s treasure!

My goal is to make pieces that are unique and tie back to nature and environment, repurposing even the smallest pieces of wasted material. This means that many of my jewelry collections are limited edition runs. As a business, it is also a priority to be rooted in community; every pop up benefits a local organization, a majority of which are focused on aiding marginalized groups in NYC.

I hope c&p encourages others to be creative in coming up with solutions to reduce waste. We can all make small changes and collectively make a big difference.
